Posting our Way to Ethiopia

In the never ending question to fund our adoption costs, I recently came across a new strategy that I really like. One of the things I love doing is promoting products that I believe in. I really believe in the power of a good referral given word-of-mouth. I’m constantly recommending books, movies, products, and all sorts of other stuff that I use on a daily basis.

Today, I found a site that lets me do this on my blog and will pay me for it. It’s called PayPerPost. Once you register with PayPerPost, you can begin promoting products on your blog or Web site. The more well-known your blog is, the more opportunities you can take advantage of. Just by posting a review, you receive a commission. In fact, this review is paying $20. Not all are that lucrative, but hey, every dollar counts, right?

So, what are we going to do with the money? Put it in our adoption bank account, of course. We have at least $20,000 left to raise before we can get on the plane to Ethiopia.

We’re posting our way to Ethiopia, and to the daughter that God has already matched us with. One day, we’ll tell her about all the crazy things we did to bring her into our family.
