Desta’s Dedication

It was a dedication to remember, that’s for sure (right Laura?)

Desta has been battling some sort of stomach flu all weekend long.  I managed to yank off her cute little dress right before she hurled all over me.  A quick bath and change of clothes and off to church we went.

A beautiful ceremony, Desta’s stomach flu aside.  She hung in there until after her turn and then it was all downhill from there.  Going in for a family photo post ceremony I handed her to Matthew.  To which he exclaimed, “Oh my, she really stinks.”  Yep, poop everywhere.  It wasn’t pretty and Desta was baptized (by me) in the church bathroom sink.  She arrived in her cute little white dress and left in gray sweats.  I’m telling you, that girl knows how to be comfortable!

So here are a few shots from the day.  My parents and sister, Mindy, were able to be be with us which made the day even more special.

Take special note of Tobin.  He looks like a little angel right?

Yes, no little angel here!

All tuckered out after a long day celebrating her life with us!
