Springtime in the Rockies. Which really means snow, sleet, 70 degrees followed by 20 degree days. It’s enough to make a person schizophrenic. My friend Andrea posted a little Colorado humor that rings very true this time of year.
And there are activities to do when Spring Break is spent at home. I am still getting ready for THE consignment sale, there is a constant sheen of dust covering all my furniture and my kids continue to grow like weeds and need new clothes.
And Matt and I are still plodding through this season of unknowns/new paths/learning patience. Which makes everything seems more daunting to handle.
YET, I woke up this morning (tired, that is a given) but encouraged that I only need to handle this day, actually each minute at a time. The kids are going to camp all week, Desta girl and I get to meet Pam on the trail this morning, the sun is promised to shine and if the sweet little birds outside my window can sing and enjoy their day, well, so can I.
Happy Spring!
I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
