I miss church. Early mornings make me nostalgic. I’ve been starting my early mornings to hit the gym and run inside (what a difference air conditioning makes when charging up my treadmill hills!)
We haven’t been to church for several weeks due to our move. Early June to be exact.
I miss it. I miss singing and listening and intereacting with people. There is something about community that speaks to my soul.
We are going to a new church today. The kids, well, there are not exactly thrilled to be in a new setting with new kids. My response? Tough. You’ll get excited about you meet people. Because church is part of what we need as a family now in our new town.
I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
