I am enjoying seeing spring come this year. It seems so slow in the making. I’m ready for the newness of life again.
This time last year I was moaning and groaning that we hadn’t received our referral yet. Now I have a little one year old who gets into everything. She’s conquered the stairs up (not down yet!), “walks” from thing to thing, crawls like a pro, has four teeth, soon to be six and is growing into a feisty toddler.
I have to remind myself of the roller coaster we experienced last summer. And how everything happened in the timing God determined. It’s hard to trust and wait and see.
But when I look at this happy little face of our youngest, I see the waiting was not in vain. That good things came and in perfect timing. So I’ll wait today and see that the Lord is good.
I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
