Gluten Free Girl

I love reading food blogs, pouring over the pictures and seeing all the wonderful ways people incorporate the basic of ingredients to make amazing food.

When I began a gluten free diet three years ago, I found the Internet to be a lifesaver of information and  recipes.  One blog in particular, Gluten Free Girl, caught by eye.

Shauna and her husband, Danny are publishing a cookbook in September. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.  Puff pastry, thin crust pizza, cinnamon rolls, all homemade and gluten free?  YES!

Shauna wrote a post last week  called Carry that Weight. It was a very thought provoking look into her relationship with with food, her health (cancer scare) and motherhood (her firstborn was in surgery shortly after she was born).  I found her to be very honest, insightful and soul bearing.  If you have a moment, I’d recommend heading over here and taking a look.

I came away from reading her blog inspired to continue living healthy, to continue running and to be very THANKFUL for my three healthy children.  Not everyone is as lucky.
