So I figure that I’m heading into my third pregnancy right now…for one baby…we are almost at month 20 since beginning this adoption.
Feeling a bit weary of this “paper” pregnancy and a holiday weekend looming, we’re taking a road trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Road trips always sound so good in theory. Throw a couple kids in the mix, one who gets carsick on a regular basis, no naps, a four and half hour drive and we’ll see what we end up on the other side of the border.
I’m looking forward to seeing another city in our country, taking the kids to some cultural events (again, think I’m setting myself up for some disappointment here but one can wish…) and sun.
I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.

Santa Fe is a great city. The Georgia O’Keefe museum is a good stop. make sure you also hit Trader Joe’s. It’s just outside the downtown area.
