We are blessed to live right behind an open space here in Colorado Springs. It’s a huge piece of land with trails, trees, ponds and grass. We try to take the kids on a walk most weeks and this week, we brought the camera.
The kids especially enjoy climbing the big trees. Caroline has nicknamed one of the trees “Sweeney.” Tobin was a bit hesitant about hiking so started out in the backpack….by the middle of the hike, he was swinging several branches to clear a path as he went.
I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
