It does not seem like October. I think the calendar should actually read February.
It’s cold outside. Today I’m thankful.
We are all home. Desta can’t go out and it’s so cold none of the rest of us want to. I am thankful for a warm house. Fire in the fireplace, cozy slippers on my feet, a Pumpkin pie spike candle burning (see, it appears I’m baking…lovely!)
Today it’s going to be hot soup (tomato bisque from last night!) and homemade croutons. Mixed greens salad with apples and blue cheese. Yummy.
Enjoy your Sunday. Enjoy your family. Be blessed and remember all those blessings!
I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
