I heard that phrase this morning.
That phrase very accurately sums how how I have been feeling these past few weeks.
Faith and Pain. I have faith that this adoption will happen. I have faith that our daughter will join our family. I have faith that we are to be in this process, at this place at this time.
I am experiencing pain in this process. The pain of all the unknowns. When will she come, what will she look like, how old will she be, what will her story be, will be know her story to pass on to her and on and on.
So faithpains. Ying and yang.
I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
