Hiking with my kids:
Both kids have had the running nose grouchies these past few days. With Caroline’s big birthday party approaching tomorrow, we needed a change of scene and fresh air.
Off to the Sante Fe Trail–an hour walk, picking up leaves and tree branches…a picnic of Lara bars and bananas.
We all feel refreshed, ready for a good nap and hopefully (cross my fingers) a good day tomorrow!
Baking:
No pictures of this one. But oh my baking. Yesterday, Caroline and I made cinnamon almonds, maple granola, chocolate chip cookies, banana bread and sourdough bread (recipe from this blog–and it really was as simple as she said). Now too bad I wasn’t able to eat 3/4 of what I baked…oh well, it was fun to bake with Caroline and the house smelled divine!
