Last night, we headed out to our favorite Japanese food restaurant, which just happens to be around the corner from our house. Kura is on the corner of Research and Union in Colorado and has some of the most creative and tasty dishes we’ve ever found. If you ever get over there, try out these:
- Sauteed Calamari Steak Appetizer
- Crab Balls
- Crunchy Shrimp Butter Yaki
- Kazan II Roll
- Tiger Roll
We’ve never had anything bad. Pair it with some hot sake or plum wine–and you’re in for a good night. Skip the green tea ice cream–unless for some reason you just have to say you tried it once.

I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
