I’ve been watching the Alexander Family’s precious journey to Ethiopia to get their son, Abe these last few days. Their pictures speak so many stories still untold.
I wanted to post their last photo album posted, showing the sights of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and some various ministries happening in that city.
As I watched the photos and heard the song, I am reminded how we are in the hands of God. I’ve found myself weeping for our adopted daughter lately. I think of her little life in another world right now, I think of her parents, of the life that she might have had with them and the life she will have with us. I continue to wrestle with the question of why does adoption even have to exist. I know, sin has entered our world…etc…I know the theology behind brokenness..but wow, if we all could have food to eat, parents who weren’t too sick to take care of us…what a world this would be.
So I am reminded again, of how God loves us, blesses us and takes care of us in a broken world. We are blessed.

I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
