Our tickets arrived this morning.
When I saw our names alongside our daughter’s, I cried.
I can’t believe that the time is coming to hold her.
This is WAY more emotional than when I went into the delivery room to birth our first two children. WAY MORE!
I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
Just came over from Tom’s blog. So glad he shared about your family. I am SO excited for you to bring your beautiful daughter HOME! I pray the last minute details all fall into place, that your travels are smooth and safe, and most importantly, that your daughter’s transition into a new world is full of blessings, grace & peace. I’m praying with you and excited to read more of your journey thus far. Sweet blessings & JOY, Amy in OR
I agree! It’s a little easier to be excited when you’re not screaming in pain ;o) See you soon, Travel Buddy!
Amen to the emotions. Birthing children from your body is way easier than birthing them in an adoption process. The emotional pain is way worse than the physical!!!
I see that the ticket has Desta’s name listed as Tinsae Monberg. When will she officially receive her new name? So exciting! Love you!
This post made me teary! So beautiful!!
