We just returned from a 14 mile round trip hiking trip with three seven year old girls and one 10 year old. They were awesome! Only a slight bit of complaining as we headed up the hills. I was ready to complain at times too!
We had a wonderful time and got to see a couple beavers swimming in the wild, many birds singing, elk this morning and lots of sunshine.
It was a wonderful time in nature and fun with friends! If you live in Colorado or visit, I highly recommend doing a hut trip!
