We woke up to a beautiful Colorado morning…cold and snowing. The kids discovered all their “new” toys that reside in the basement. They loved playing outside (for about 10 minutes) and having hot chocolate afterwards. Matt and I were able to catch up on some paperwork and even wrap a gift or two.

I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
This blog began as a way to chronicle the journey to getting our third daughter through adoption. I have found that since I began writing, this blog has become a place for community, support and a safe place to share about my LIFE.
