For those wondering how we are posting pictures so fast. First, I’m re-sizing them from 3MB down to about 80kb. That immediately helps with uploading, although the quality is very low. We are then using WordPress to upload and display them in a gallery format. E-mail me if you want me to post a more detailed tutorial. Of course, this all depends on the Internet, which is slow at best and usually on/off for most of the day. Enjoy these new photos. We took these right as we brought Desta back to the hotel for her first bath.
I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
Once you get home, definitely post a tutorial for those of us traveling behind you! Your pics are just great! Please update us on how Desta is feeling – there are lots and lots of prayers going up for that precious baby!
