After spending countless hours in the kitchen, I was pleased to have finished a major part of my homemade Christmas.
I made seven kinds of Christmas cookies, two kinds of fudge and filled 28 decorative take out containers plus three large platters of cookies.
I now have one sore back, two sore feet and a sugar induced coma due to the samples needed to make sure everything tasted okay!
I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
oh my gosh! that’s a lot of baking. my gramma does that same thing and gives out cookie baskets to just about every person she knows, knew, or just met. seriously, she’s like a freakin’ keebler elf factory. but it’s yummy!
amazing! my mother is watering.
Totally amazing! I get tired after making chocolate chip cookies. There is NO WAY I could do all that baking like you did! It truly looks beautiful. Where did you get those adorable takeout containers? You can just write the answer in this comment section and I’ll check the box to have comments emailed to me.
Thanks Kristen!
I usually get them in the dollar section at Target but this year I didn’t get them soon enough. Hobby Lobby is currently having a 50% off sale for all Christmas items (through to tomorrow, the 6th). I got them for $1/piece. I didn’t think that was too bad considering I made everything else!
Wow! You got them at Target! That’s my favorite store, second only to Goodwill.
We don’t have Hobby Lobby, but it’s great to know you can get them so cheaply. They are SO cute! Our MOPS group is going to have a cookie exchange and I’m going to use that for gifts for some of our neighbors and have been looking for cute containers to put everything in.
