My good friend and running buddy, Pam, convinced me that running the Pony Express 15+ (which ended up around 16 miles according to my Garmin) on Sunday would be fun!
I wasn’t so convinced about fun that last mile but beautiful was the word I kept in my brain! We got to view the entire Pikes Peak while running around the Rampart Reservoir. If you’ve never been to this trail, go. It’s incredibly beautiful…wonderful up and down hills (only a few Barr Trailisque hills in there!) and lots of aspen trees.
It was a privilege to run and enjoy the beauty of creation while huffing and puffing my way to the end!
