We met a great couple at our adoption training in October. Brittlee and Andy Dunn were one of very few couples in that room that are our age…and adopting from Ethiopia. I haven’t spent much time with Brittlee but her blog evidences a very talented and smart woman. I have enjoyed reading their adoption journey as well as finding fun things to make and taste. Brittlee included several blog sites of families also adopting. Tonight I had some time to sit at the computer and read. And it was the best hour I’ve spent in a long time.
I am blown away with all the wonderful stories of how God has woven all these families together. I’m a bit nervous reading about the trips home and the not so romantic meetings with their adoptive children. I love the frank honesty of love that truly passes through miles and miles of land and sea. It was a very rewarding time and I’m so happy to have met one couple who have opened another world to me of more families doing the same thing we are.
Brittlee’s blog address is: brittleedunn.blogspot.com
Read, enjoy and learn!
I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
