Tasty Tuesdays

Tuesdays are crazy around here and it’s cold.  I needed a quick, really yummy meal that used some of my pantry items.  I am making this today.

Smothered Chicken

Ingredients

  • 12 chicken thighs or 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 cup French dressing
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl combine the jam, dressing and soup mix. Mix together.
  2. Place chicken pieces in a slow cooker. Pour apricot mixture over chicken and cook for 6 to 8 hours on low.
  3. Serve over rice or potatoes
