The Semlow family is with our agency, America World Adoption. They have been waiting 7 MONTHS since their referral to pass court and get their three children. Mountains had to be moved and it was a long journey. I journaled about them a few weeks ago. ‘Today they passed court and will be traveling very soon to get these three precious children. This is a day to rejoice with them!

I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
This blog began as a way to chronicle the journey to getting our third daughter through adoption. I have found that since I began writing, this blog has become a place for community, support and a safe place to share about my LIFE.
