Twilight…the movie

This weekend was it…that is, the opening for Twilight.

For those who are not part of this crazy movement, you are missing out. Now I have my opinions about the book and would not allow my 13 year old child read it without me reading alongside and conversing about all the themes.

BUT, for us adults, or, adult women I should say, I loved the series. AND I was so so happy with the movie.

People in our theater actually clapped when Edward made his first appearance, they oohed and awed during various scenes and we were all marveling at how well the movie depicted the book.

So, I plan on rereading these books. I plan on dragging my dear husband (who has not read the books) to another showing of the movie and I plan on reveling in Edward Cullenititis today.

I am so jealous!!!! I have to wait a week to see it because of our schedules… literally I’m green with envy. But it sounds like the die hard fans are really enjoying the on-screen version. I AM SO EXCITED!!!

all the excitement about this movie has made me want to the read the books. i haven’t seen the movie and i think i’ll read the book first. but it isn’t that much unlike me. i’ve always loved vampire stories! there is something mysterious and, dare i say, sexy about them. :)
