Waiting and Longing

Yesterday morning I woke up with an intense longing to have our baby girl with us here, in the USA. It was this overwhelming longing to know her, see her little face, hear her sounds and have her with us! Here! So I used the time to think of her and pray, pray for her caregivers, her mother, her family in Ethiopia. To pray for her transition into our family, to pray for the paperwork and the court appearance. I continue to long for this little girl. And try to be patient.

In the meanwhile, I’ve been collecting things for her room. I saw this picture and fell in love! I love this little painting.

oh, I love the painting. It reminds me of dolls another adoptive mom is making. She is sold out of her dolls right now but check out her site in a couple weeks. Her dolls are amazing
