at least Tobin considers Clancy and Bella new members of our family. We have dressed them in Tobin’s pajamas (and once Clancy was wonderfully attired, Bella had to get her duds together as well), they have driven with us around town (for three days now!), and they get to partake in juice and banana bread time. It’s a good thing that we have a third car seat set aside for our baby sister. Clancy and Bella have enjoyed breaking it in while we wait for her to arrive.
Ahh..the joy of childhood. Despite the immense size of Clancy and Bella, it’s been a reminder to me to stop and enjoy the simple things. I mean, who knew what sheer joy two stuffed bears would give to such a young man?
Now…fast forward to his 30s and I’m sure we’ll hear the comments from Tobin…”Mom, why did you ever let me wander town with that thing!”
