We are the middle of our first blizzard of the year…and it’s the end of March. As our dear little friend said this afternoon, “How funny that we are having winter in Spring.”
The storm has lent to a laid back day…and it’s spring break so the kids are busy crafting, drawing, watching TV, and enjoying being home. I spent the bulk of the afternoon beginning our daughter’s photo album.
I decided that since my oldest two children had hand made albums for their first year, this little girl had to as well. It’s funny to make pages for airplane trips, referral phone calls and paperwork…just a bit different from hospitalizations and ultrasound pictures.
Taking a break, I did some blog surfing and landed on this post. I have read it a few times and am still mulling it over. My baby girl is on my mind a lot today. This post has helped me process perpsective when she is with us. Good stuff. Go read it.
I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
