Yesterday it rained on and off throughout the entire day. It was balmy. In fact, a bit chilly at times.
Running outside felt amazing. The dog, the jogger, the husband, ocean breeze and flat land. I had a thought. I can do running in South Florida if it’s like this all the time. This is fun, this is what I had in mind when I began running years and years ago.
Unfortunately today proved that South Florida is still not ready to be a pleasant running playground for me. Not yet at least. I’m told that come November I’ll be loving it.
If November is any bit like yesterday, sign me up for a race ASAP! I’ll be ready to train then!
