White, really white

I know it’s all about just getting her done right now, the workout, the run, the speed work.  In this crazy spring weather, getting her done requires many hours in the gym.

And I was painfully aware of how COLD and LONG this winter has been when I saw my stark WHITE legs in the mirrors that surround the treadmills.  Oh, and the chocolate I’ve been eating hasn’t helped with the rear view as well. Why do gyms insist on so many mirrors? Really, I don’t need to see myself sweating like a fiend while running on the hamster machine!

I think I just might succumb to that tan in the bottle stuff if this weather doesn’t change soon.

    Officially. Coolest. Blog. Layout. EVER.

    Looooove it.

Thanks for asking about my runs. The Austin marathon was wonderful, the weather was perfect. I did a 4:21, which I was really proud of – I’ve always since time in memoriam been a creeping slow runner, so for m that was the bomb fast. In the process, however, I filched the health out of my right knee. And it hurt for a good few weeks during which time I tried to get swimming in.

    Which race are you running?

I am so ready to get my legs in the sun too. My legs are yellow right now….blckkkeeeeck!

Don’t do the fake tanning lotions PLEASE!!! Way too many yucky chemicals in them and may harm you down the road!!
